Interview with Jess and Paul van Dyk
I only putted Paul's questions about Jess, and the interview with Jess.

To get an interview with Paul van Dyk is pretty hard. It looks like the German DJ is on airplanes all the time. Somewhere between that he has found some time to record a single called 'White Lies' The nice and busy Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta is on it. We wanted to know where this co-operation came from.
About your single: Why Jessica?
Paul: 'When I had finished the song inclusive text, it was pretty sexy. It doesn't make sense when I'm singing a song like White Lies. So I thought: I need someone who can sing, and who has the looks.'
Good choice then, Pussycat Dolls
Paul: 'And especially Jessica, because she's a big fan of electric music. She goes out a lot, and knows a lot about this kind of music. So we approached Jessica, she really liked the song and we started to work on it together.'
Do you think you could've used another doll for this song?
Paul: 'No, I wanted Jessica. Of course it's handy to use the popularity of the Pussycat Dolls, but I needed someone who understood the song. Nicole, for example, is more an R&B singer. She wouldn't have sound as good as Jessica in this song. And like I said: Jessica is a dance fan.'
And she look good in the clip!
Paul: 'Of course!'

Continue to Jessica, who's at home in LA. The Pussycat Dolls aren't very busy at the moment, so she has time enough to talk to us. 'It's too bad I've got to talk to you on the phone, because I love the Netherlands and Amsterdam. I know exactly what we did there last year. I even know what I wore. I was really impressed'.

Then you have to come back soon! Maybe with Paul van Dyk? How did you get contacted with him?
Jessica: 'Well, boring story: We have the same label in Germany. I'm busy with dance music the last two years. Just to get to know my own voice. I wanted to try some things anonymous.'
Seems it's leaked..
Jessica: 'Yes, but I did that by myself. I told it to someone of the label in Germany. He said: "That's great. I know someone who's looking for a singer for a new dance single." And that was Paul.'
You shouldn't take this bad, but why do we never hear you with the Pussycat Dolls? It seems you're a good singer
Jessica: 'Well, thanks. I like to hear that. But the Pussycat Dolls are setted up with Nicole as leadsinger. I wasn't sure enough about my voice anyways. It wasn't my time yet, I think. But maybe the next album?'
Are you already working on the new album?
Jessica: 'No, we've not even started recording. Although rumours at the internet says it should be almost ready. Nicole's working on her soloalbum and she's busy with that. But it's the purpose to start in a few months with our second album. It has to be released in 2008.
That's too bad, because we almost can't wait
Jessica: 'Well, if it helps, we neither' ;)
We've read somewhere that the new albums name is going to be Double The Trouble.
Jessica: 'Not true, I'm sorry. I've read that too. Nice title, but no'
The programm The Search For The Next Pussycat Doll is finished and Asia won. Are you continuing with seven dolls?
Jessica: 'No, unfortunately. Asia decided to go solo: She thought that was more like her. I'm happy for her, and wish her all the luck. We're staying with the six of us.
Wasn't it weird to make a single with Paul, but without the dolls?
Jessica: 'Of course. In the beginning, I thought it was terrifying. I had to sing in the song in the studio, and I was standing there alone. And then I had to make a clip too. The hard part of being a soloartist, is that all the criticism goes to you. But I was so glad with the result that I just think it's great'

In the same Hitkrant was a prize question to win a linen of the Pussycat Dolls. You only had to mail who was you're favorite Pussycat Doll and why. So I send an e-mail, and guess what? I won! The linen is hanging next to my bed. I'll make a photo of it once and put it in the gallery.
